«Navoiyazot» JSC is actively implementing investment projects aimed at modernizing technologies and technical re-equipment of the enterprise's production facilities in order to ensure the sustainable competitiveness of the company's products in the domestic and foreign markets by improving the quality of products, reducing its cost.

In accordance with the Resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 17, 2014 No. PP-2264 "On the Investment Program of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2015", dated December 16, 2014 No. PP-2272 "On measures to implement the investment project" Construction of a complex of polyvinyl chloride (PVC ), caustic soda and methanol on the basis of «Navoiyazot» JSC and by the Presidential Decree of March 4, 2015 No.UP-4707 "On the Program of Measures to Ensure Structural Transformations, Modernization and Diversification of Production for 2015-2019", «Navoiyazot» JSC is implementing the following projects:

• Construction of an ammonia and urea production facility at «Navoiyazot» JSC;
• Construction of a complex for the production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), caustic soda and methanol on the basis of «Navoiyazot» JSC;
• Organization of nitric acid production at «Navoiyazot» JSC;

Modernization and reconstruction of power supply facilities, replacement of measuring instruments with modern ones with the introduction of an automated process control system at «Navoiyazot» JSC.

Construction of ammonia and urea production at «Navoiyazot» JSC

Project goal: The main goal of the project is to create a new complex for the production of mineral fertilizers at «Navoiyazot» JSC with the introduction of modern energy-saving technologies.

The implementation of the project will allow:

• to put out of action the obsolete and physically worn-out ammonia plants of the 1st and 2nd stages at «Navoiyazot» JSC, which were put into operation in 1965-1967, which will ensure a stable production of ammonia for the production of mineral fertilizers;
• to reduce the specific energy consumption for the production of ammonia in comparison with the existing production;
• to ensure an increase in the production of nitrogen mineral fertilizers;
• increase the export potential of the industry;
• reduce the level of harmful emissions into the environment at work;
• create additional 473 new jobs;
• give impetus to the development of the Navoi region.

Construction of a complex for the production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), caustic soda and methanol on the basis of «Navoiyazot» JSC

Purpose of the project: The purpose of the project is to create our own production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), expand production capacities for the production of caustic soda and methanol, thereby providing:

• Localization of import-substituting products in order to save hard currency;
• Expansion of the range of manufactured import-substituting products and provision of deep processing of available raw materials;
• Creation of additional jobs to ensure employment of the able-bodied population of the region;
• Construction of a new complex will give a new impetus to the development of small business and private entrepreneurship by creating a raw material base in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Organization of nitric acid production at «Navoiyazot» JSC

Purpose of the project: The main goal of the project is the stable supply of the complex of mineral fertilizers with nitric acid through the construction of a new highly efficient production of nitric acid at «Navoiyazot» JSC with a capacity of 500 thousand tons per year with the subsequent decommissioning of the obsolete and physically worn out production of weak nitric acid 1-2 queue.

With the implementation of the project, a reliable raw material base is created for the production of nitric acid and the development of capacities for the production of mineral fertilizers.

The construction of a nitric acid production facility at NAVOIYAZOT ​​JSC will give an impetus to the comprehensive renovation and development of a number of industries aimed at obtaining nitrogen fertilizers, which in turn will contribute to the development of agriculture in the republic.

Modernization and reconstruction of power supply facilities, replacement of measuring instruments with modern ones with the introduction of an automated process control system at «Navoiyazot» JSC

The purpose and objectives of the project: modernization and reconstruction of power supply facilities, replacement of measuring instruments with modern ones with the introduction of an automated process control system.

Investment projects implemented in pursuance of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 19, 2017 No. PP-2982 "On measures to further expand the comprehensive strategic partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the People's Republic of China"

Organization of thiourea production based on thiocyanate ammonium and sodium polysulfide

The cost of the project is 50.0 million US dollars.

Implementation period 2019-2021

Organization of production of dry cyanols at «Navoiyazot» JSC

The cost of the project is USD 30.0 million.

Implementation period 2019-2021

For these projects, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the companies "China CAMC Engineering Co." and HQC Shanghai (PRC), the project network schedule was developed and approved.

Organization of production of a wide range of products based on methanol of «Navoiyazot» JSC

In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 03.04.2019 No. PP-4265 "On measures to further reform and increase the investment attractiveness of the chemical industry", the project "Organization of production of a wide range of products based on methanol at «Navoiyazot» JSC", developed by BCG (USA).

The estimated cost of the project is $ 435 million, of which at least $ 65.3 million is its own funds, $ 65.3 million is foreign direct investment, and $ 304.4 million is loans from financial institutions.

The implementation period is 2024-2026.

Organization of ferrosilicon production in Navoi region

In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 03.04.2019 No. PP-4265 "On measures to further reform and increase the investment attractiveness of the chemical industry", the project "Organization of ferrosilicon production in the Navoi region" is being implemented

The estimated cost of the project is 10.0 million US dollars.
